Preliminary

The Br. Sheshrao Wankhede Shetkari Sahakari Soot Girni Ltd. Was registered in 1989 under the Maharashtra Co-operative Act 1960.
The Registered number of the Soot Girni is NGP/PRG/A/DH-3/1989 dated 27/03/1989.
The founder of the Soot Girni is Hon’ble Shri Dattatrayji Meghe Ex-M.P. from Nagpur.

Land

Soot Girni is situated at owned land of 20 hectors (50 Acres). The Soot Girni was incorporated in 8th Five year plan.

Construction

The main Building & other construction of the Soot Girni is completed. In addition to this the residential quarters of the officers, staff and workers have been constructed around 20105.96 Sq. Mtr. (Apprx 216418.8 Sq Ft).

Audit

Statutory Audit up to 2014-15 is completed and awarded ‘A’ class.

In first stage

• We installed 14352 spindles in the year 2004, and the yarn production started from 9th August 2004.
• At present the Soot Girni installed capacity of 58464 spindles and the yarn production is in progress.
• Apart from yarn manufacturing we have comber facility of 4 M.T. per Day.
• The Soot Girni is always on progressive road map under the able guidance of the founder Chaiman Hon. Shri Dattatrayji Meghe, Ex-M.P.  under the leadership of Hon. Chairman Shri Samirji Meghe & Shri Sagarji Meghe, Director.
• At present 80 staff & 745 workers are working in the Soot Girni and it is expected maximum employment to the rural educated unemployed.

This Soot Girni is the biggest Soot Girni in Cooperative sector of Vidharbha having 58464 spindles production.

Special benefits provided to the Members.

• In the year 2010-11 about 50 small land holders were selected and distributed milking cow worth Rs 15000.
• In the year 2011-12 members beneficiary scheme was incorporated. Rs 15000 financial assistance provided to the members as per their applications for the accident, calamities and the abnormal diseases.
